Dobram-se os anos e você não consegue esquivar-se de pensar na morte e nos cuidados que ela trás: enterrar ou cremar o corpo que fica? Quanto tempo aguardar entre a morte e a cremação? Quais as consequências desta para o Espírito que parte?
É compreensível a sua preocupação, mas se tranquilize. Antes de pensar em morrer bem, ocupe-se em viver bem. Dedique-se ao bem que está ao seu alcance fazer no momento presente, no local em que se encontra; seja motivo de alegria para aqueles que estão a sua volta, dê algo de si, do seu coração; seque uma lágrima, desperte um sorriso. Não espere a oportunidade ideal, que pode nunca chegar.
Ore, todos os dias, pelo menos um quarto de hora. Abra o seu coração e, percebendo ao seu redor a Bondade Divina, agradeça o sorriso da criança, o raio de sol que adentra pela janela, a flor que desabrocha no jardim e tantos outros pequenos mimos que a vida lhe oferece. Entregue à Divina Providência aquelas questões que, mesmo após muito esforçar-se, não conseguiu resolver. Fique à vontade para falar de suas fraquezas, das limitações que já consegue perceber em si, e para rogar forças a superar-se. Por fim, silencie, para escutar a Voz de Deus no imo do coração, a lhe responder a súplica que jamais passa despercebida.
Aproveite toda oportunidade de dividir com os outros as noções de espiritualidade que já conseguiu entesourar, ajudando-os a perceber que estamos cercados por seres bondosos e sábios, que, atuando em nome da Misericórdia Divina, nos assistem e amparam, visando sempre o nosso crescimento e felicidade.
E não se espante se, quando a morte chegar, convidando- o a renascer no outro lado da vida, sentir-se tranquilo e sereno, sem se importar com as dúvidas que ora lhe assaltam a paz.
